In the most utopian world, an artist could go to jail, release a hit single and have the option to have a reality show (tentatively titled, Lil' Kim Goes to the Big House). It's a shame that in our generation, this really happens. As the NOTORIOUS K.I.M. embarks on her latest quest in life, everyone from New Orleans to Baltimore will be putting their lighters up in respect to the Queen. In short, unlike her last two efforts, "Lighter's Up" offers fans the realness that launched Kim's career; I wish I could say the same for her new look too.
