Special: Why Mario Can't Win

After multi-platinum success, Mario should be among the most elite in the industry, but just as with his first album, he seems to fall off after his first single. Why is this? Could it be his age, could it be his management, could it even be the mere fact that he's not as spectacular as other's in his field?
There are 5 reasons that, 'Turning Point' did not do as well as it could have.
- 'Let Me Love You' was a great song, so why did J Records try to break the formula and release something as lackluster as 'How Could You' right after it? It paled in comparison to the former and showed no purpose in having both the ballads released behind one another.
- 'Boom' would have been a much better second choice single. It's too late now.
- 'Here I Go Again' sounds like a carbon copy of Usher's 'Caught Up.'
- J Records does not know who to market Mario to. His voice is too good for fluff pop but he lacks the emotional depth that it would take to perform a song like 'Burn.'
- He's too quiet. Where is the controversy? Someone needs their heart broken a couple times or two. In fact, Mario should go away for awhile and prepare himself to release his equivalent to 8701. It is then that he will have more than one hit on his album.

The Free Press Except for a prognosticator or two, the Fearless Forecasters finally looked, well, fearless last week.
Nice blog! I'm going to bookmark it!
I have a Work At Home site. It pretty much covers Work At Home related stuff. (And I've got lots of great new programs!)
Have a look sometime!
