"R. Kelly Jr." is attempting to make much splash now that his company has learned to go back to the drawing board to find a single more appealing than his first two. This song here will be Songz 'real' debut to the world. Already guesting on Twista's 'Girl Tonight' and Trina's "50/50"(release date not announced), Trey Songz will eventually become one of R&B's brightest stars in 2006. What makes 'Gotta Go' interesting is the yearning in the young singers voice that many newcomers are missing (hint: Ray J). The song will carry well over into CHR/Rhythmic and will put a little dent in CHR/pop, but nonetheless it will prepare him for the pop hit that I am sure Atlantic will rush in the coming months. Though he may have to go now, watch this star cause this kid is ready to take the crown from Bobby, R., and Usher... damn..., it's about time.
