Back in ’98, SWV had their final hit with ‘Rain.’ It was great end to a successful year, now fast forward to present day and we have Chingy attempting to revive his career with one of the worst “hook-men” in the industry. Not only is this song reminiscent of ‘Don’t Worry’ which featured Janet on the hook, but it pales in comparison. Instead of Chingy trying to put a new spin on songs that he remembers from his childhood, he and his company should grip the reality that he will never be a successful hip-hop artist again. And for our generation, we should really stop sampling tracks that are not even a decade old.
