I can't exactly welcome Torn to the world as her first single, but I can say that the introduction as a soloist has been long overdue. Using, 'You Are Everything' as the backdrop, this song will go on to become a classic R&B jam that no other female from Destiny's Child has been able to achieve alone. It's about time that someone from that camp learned how to sing a ballad properly...

I have to disagree with you a little. The song itself...I actually like alot but I disagree with you on the comment about her knowing how to sing a "ballad correctly". Her voice is not strong to me and she sounds like her voice is "studio". I felt Dangerously in Love was a great ballad and the vocals on it are strong IMO
HER VOICE DOES SOUND "STUDIO" BUT I THINK THIS SONG IS HOT AND IT'S DOING VERY WELL ON THE RADIO . THE VIDEO IS ALSO HOT, HOPE SHE GOES FAR IN HER CAREER . GOOD LUCK LETOYA
